Fabric Inspection
Ensuring the quality and quantity of critical raw materials prior to production beginning helps to prevent potential faults in later production stages.
For garment and home textiles, the purchase of fabric constitutes a substantial part of production cost and it is essential to assess the quantity and quality of the fabric to mitigate the chance of faulty finished products as a result of fabric-related problems.
We adopt the 4-point system for fabric inspection. The 4-point system has been endorsed by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and is the most common standard used by the industry to evaluate fabric quality.
Inline Inspection
Inline inspection offers extra quality assurance for products that require particular attention to the workmanship, such as garment and footwear products.
Quantity check of semi-finished and finished products, by Inline Inspection, will also serve as a good indicator of production status, allowing you to better estimate the completion time of the entire production, and make any necessary adjustments.
Product Inspection
Inspection can be conducted before, during or after the production process. An inspection provides maximum visibility around different aspects of the consumer goods production process for those buyers who are unable to visit the factories in person.
Our well-trained inspectors located in key production locations across the world carry out on-site consumer product inspections to allow you to cost-effectively get a clear picture of the production status, product quality and other key factors affecting the delivery of your purchasing orders for products such as:
Pre-production inspection
The pre-production inspection service, also called initial production inspection, takes place before production begins. By checking the incoming quantity, quality, styles, and other details of raw materials, as well as production equipment, it ensures your production starts in the right place.
During production inspection (DuPro)
DuPro ensures your production is taking place properly, and you will receive products that match the samples you have approved. During the inspection, we can also perform sample picking and on-site basic product testing. In addition, we offer Inline Inspection that provides extra assurance in relation to product quality.
Final random inspection (FRI)
FRI inspection is performed when 80% or more of the production is completed. This is a great opportunity to look into the quality, conformity, compliance and other attributes of the products before they go into shipping containers.
As a final round of inspection, we offer loading supervision, where our inspectors check the packing details and quantity of products against documentation at loading.
Garment and textiles quality inspection
Random quality inspections of garment and textile goods during production and before loading is critical to safeguard the quality of the products and ensure end consumers’ satisfaction. Also called quality control (QC), on-site inspection is often used by buyers to examine the quality of textile goods and receive an objective report detailing the results to help make a shipment decision.
All sorts of garments and textile goods can be inspected, including:
